Ignite is an alarm that doesn't stop until you point your camera at a personal item it recognizes. This policy explains exactly what we collect, what we don't, and why. The short version: we keep almost nothing, and your camera footage and reference photos never leave your device.
Your camera and your reference photos never leave your phone. When you set up a wake item, the photo is stored locally. When the alarm rings and you scan to dismiss it, recognition runs entirely on-device using Apple's Vision framework.
We do not upload, transmit, store, or have any access to your camera feed, the frames it captures, or your reference images.
We use the limited data above only to operate the app: to sign you in, sync your alarm and wake item across launches, track your wake streak, and email you a password-reset code when you request one.
We do not sell your data, show you ads, or use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
We rely on a few infrastructure providers to run the service, who process data only on our behalf:
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account at any time from inside the app (account menu → Delete Account).
Deleting your account immediately and permanently removes your email, alarm, wake item, and wake history from our database. This cannot be undone.
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and are never stored or logged in readable form. All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted over HTTPS. Password-reset codes are short-lived and stored only as hashes.
Ignite is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
